Getting from the airport
Edinburgh airport (Turnhouse) is located approximately 10 miles (14km) west of the city centre. Students arriving here can either take a taxi (25 minutes; approx £20) or the Airport bus (25 minutes; £3.50 single or £6 return).

The departure point for the airport bus (Airlink) is directly outside the Arrivals Terminal. It leaves every 15 minutes for Waverley Bridge in the city centre.  Full details on how to get to your accommodation will be included in your pre-arrival pack.

Accommodation
On arrival in Edinburgh you are responsible for getting to your accommodation (we don't provide airport transfers). You will receive a detailed information pack before you arrive which will give advice on where to go and how to get there. If you need further advice please email us.

A typical first day
Once you have registered for a course you will receive an information pack from us which contains details of where to go and what to do on your first day with us. Please read this carefully before you arrive so you don't arrive late.

On your first day once you have completed registration you will go straight into class and meet your fellow course participants and teachers.  During your first week (usually on your first day) you will go on a complimentary coach tour of Edinburgh.
